Everything you need to know about GMTrade Stake.
What is GMTrade Stake?+
GMTrade Stake is a comprehensive staking, yield, and trading protocol that enables users to stake assets, earn rewards, provide liquidity, and trade 60+ global markets including commodities, forex, equities, and indexes — all from a single wallet interface with ultra-low fees and instant execution.
What markets can I trade on GMTrade?+
GMTrade supports 60+ global markets across four categories: commodities (gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas), forex (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, and more), equities (AAPL, TSLA, NVDA, AMZN, MSFT, GOOGL), and indexes (S&P 500, NASDAQ, DAX, Nikkei 225). New markets are added regularly through governance proposals.
How does staking work on GMTrade?+
You deposit SOL or USDC into GMTrade Stake vaults and receive liquid receipt tokens (gmSOL or gmUSDC). These tokens appreciate in value as staking rewards accumulate — currently 12.4% APY for SOL and 8.6% for USDC. Your gmSOL/gmUSDC tokens remain fully usable across the GMTrade ecosystem — you can provide them as liquidity, use them as collateral, or trade while still earning rewards.
What are the fees on GMTrade Stake?+
GMTrade charges a 0.04% flat trading fee — among the lowest available. Staking and unstaking carry zero protocol fees. Liquidity provision and vault deposits have no entry or exit fees. Network transaction costs are under $0.001. All fees are displayed clearly in the transaction preview before you sign. There are no hidden fees, no withdrawal fees, no management fees on any product.
Is GMTrade Stake non-custodial?+
Yes, completely. GMTrade Stake is fully non-custodial at every step. Your assets are locked in audited smart contracts — no team member, admin, or third party has access to your funds. You sign every transaction with your own private keys and can withdraw at any time without permission from anyone.
How do liquidity pools work?+
GMTrade liquidity pools are single-asset pools where you deposit one asset (SOL, USDC, or ETH). These pools provide the counterparty liquidity for all trades on the platform. As traders open and close positions, the pool earns a share of the 0.04% trading fee. Because they are single-asset, there is no impermanent loss risk. Current APYs range from 18% to 24% depending on the pool.
What wallets are supported?+
GMTrade Stake supports Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and any compatible wallet via standard wallet adapters. For the best experience, we recommend Phantom or Solflare. Mobile wallet support is available through both Phantom Mobile and Solflare Mobile apps.
What is the maximum leverage?+
Maximum leverage varies by market: up to 100× on major token pairs (SOL, ETH), 50× on commodities (gold, silver, oil), 50× on major forex pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD), and 30× on equity and index markets. Leverage is transparent and adjustable before each trade, with clear liquidation price shown upfront.
Are there any lock-up periods for staking?+
No. GMTrade Stake has no lock-up periods. You receive gmSOL or gmUSDC immediately upon staking, and these tokens can be used or sold at any time. To unstake back to native SOL or USDC, you can swap your receipt tokens on the open market (instant) or unstake through the protocol interface (also instant, zero fee).
How does the liquidation process work?+
If a leveraged trading position's margin falls below the maintenance requirement, the position is automatically liquidated to protect the liquidity pool. Your liquidation price is shown clearly before opening any position. You can add margin at any time to reduce liquidation risk. There is no socialized loss system — only individual positions are affected.
How are prices determined on GMTrade?+
GMTrade uses a combination of high-fidelity oracle price feeds from leading providers that aggregate data from multiple exchanges and data sources. Prices update in real-time with sub-second latency. For real-world asset markets (commodities, forex, equities), prices are sourced from institutional-grade financial data providers covering global exchanges.
What is the GMTrade Points program?+
The GMTrade Points program rewards active users for every on-protocol action. Trading, staking, providing liquidity, and vault deposits all earn points. Points are accumulated continuously and can be redeemed for protocol rewards at regular intervals. The more you use GMTrade, the more you earn. The program is live — connect your wallet to start accumulating.
Can I use GMTrade without KYC?+
Yes. GMTrade is a fully permissionless protocol. No KYC, no account creation, no email address required — just connect your wallet and start using any feature immediately. Access is available to anyone with a compatible wallet.
How does GMTrade keep my assets secure?+
Security at GMTrade is multi-layered: all smart contracts have been audited by OtterSec, Halborn, and Sec3. The protocol is fully non-custodial — you always retain control of your private keys. All governance upgrades are subject to a 48-hour timelock. A $2M bug bounty program incentivizes responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities. Zero security incidents to date.
What are automated yield vaults?+
GMTrade Vaults are automated strategies that compound your yield from staking and liquidity provision. When you deposit into a vault, the protocol automatically claims rewards and re-deposits them every 4 hours, maximizing your effective APY through compound interest. Vaults charge no management fees — you keep 100% of the yield generated.
How do I track my transactions?+
Every transaction on GMTrade generates a transaction hash displayed after submission. You can track your full history, open positions, staking balances, and pool deposits in the Portfolio tab within the GMTrade app. All historical data is also viewable through standard network explorers.
Is GMTrade available on mobile?+
Yes. GMTrade is fully optimized for mobile browsers and works seamlessly with Phantom Mobile, Solflare Mobile, and other mobile wallets. The interface adapts to any screen size with all features fully functional. A dedicated mobile app is on the roadmap.
What is the minimum transaction amount?+
There is no formal minimum for staking — any amount above the network fee (under $0.001) can be staked. For trading, a practical minimum of approximately $10 is recommended to ensure fees don't represent a disproportionate cost. For liquidity provision and vault deposits, there are no imposed minimums.
How does GMTrade compare to other protocols?+
GMTrade is the only protocol that combines staking, yield vaults, liquidity pools, and 60+ global market trading in a single interface. Compared to dedicated trading platforms, GMTrade offers lower fees (0.04% vs 0.1%), faster execution (sub-second vs multi-second), and integrated yield generation. The combination of real-world asset access and native staking rewards is unique in the market.
Does GMTrade have a governance token?+
GMTrade is governed through on-protocol proposals. Community members can propose and vote on new market listings, fee parameter changes, security upgrades, and treasury allocations. Details about governance token structure and distribution are announced through official channels.
How do I become a liquidity provider?+
Connect your wallet, go to the Pools tab, select a pool (SOL, USDC, or ETH), and deposit your tokens. There's no application process — it's instant and fully permissionless. You start earning fees from the very next trade that occurs on the platform. All positions are managed by you directly through the interface.
What happens if there's a network outage?+
During network downtime, no new trades can be opened or closed. Staked assets and liquidity pool deposits remain safe in smart contracts and are unaffected by network outages. When the network resumes, all positions are updated to current market prices. The protocol includes circuit breakers to prevent cascading liquidations during volatile recovery periods.
How is slippage handled on trades?+
GMTrade uses oracle-based pricing rather than AMM-based pricing, which means there is zero price impact regardless of trade size — your trade executes at the oracle price. Slippage tolerance settings are still available for execution price variation due to the time between submission and confirmation, with a default of 0.3%.
Can I short markets on GMTrade?+
Yes. GMTrade supports both long and short positions on all 60+ markets. Opening a short position allows you to profit when the market price decreases. Short positions use the same leverage options and fee structure as long positions. You can hedge existing positions by opening an opposite position on the same market.
What are the trading hours for real-world asset markets?+
Token markets (SOL, ETH, USDC pairs) trade 24/7. Commodity and forex markets follow global exchange hours — gold, silver, and forex trade nearly 24/5 (Sunday evening to Friday evening UTC). Equity and index markets trade during their respective exchange hours (NYSE: 14:30–21:00 UTC, Nikkei: 00:00–06:00 UTC). Weekend trading on select markets is available with adjusted spreads.
Does GMTrade charge any hidden fees?+
No hidden fees, ever. GMTrade charges a transparent 0.04% trading fee. Staking, unstaking, pool deposits, pool withdrawals, and vault operations have zero protocol fees. Network fees (under $0.001) are paid separately. All fees are displayed clearly in the transaction preview before you sign.
How do stop-loss and take-profit orders work?+
GMTrade supports native stop-loss and take-profit orders for all markets. These are set when opening a position or can be added to existing positions at any time. Orders execute automatically when the oracle price reaches your target. There is no additional fee for limit orders beyond the standard 0.04% execution fee.
What collateral types are accepted for trading?+
GMTrade accepts SOL, USDC, and USDT as collateral for trading positions. You can also use gmSOL (staked SOL) as collateral, which means you continue earning staking rewards while using your assets to trade — effectively earning yield on your margin.
Where can I find developer documentation?+
Full documentation, developer APIs, SDK resources, and integration guides are available through the Docs link in the navigation. GMTrade maintains open-source repositories, a developer community channel, and a bug bounty program paying up to $2M for critical vulnerabilities. Developers can build on GMTrade with permissionless API access.
How do I contact support?+
Community support is available through the official Discord server and Telegram group, both accessible from the footer links. For security-related issues, use the bug bounty program. Protocol documentation covers most common questions and includes step-by-step guides for all features.
